Nigeria’s geospatial sector is large and growing. Satellite data, LiDAR surveys, digital terrain models and WebGIS platforms are changing how infrastructure is planned, how land is managed and how disasters are tracked across the country.
The analysts, developers, surveyors and researchers behind that work need more than scattered job boards and social feeds. They need one place to build a professional profile, find opportunities, share datasets and tools, and showcase what they’ve made. GeoHubNG was built to be that place.

How GeoHubNG came to be
The gap was obvious
Nigeria’s geospatial professionals were spread across general job boards and social platforms. GIS roles were buried among unrelated postings, and nothing was designed around the profession itself.
Building instead of waiting
Rather than list our organisation on a third-party directory that wasn’t built for geospatial work, we built our own. Then a job board, then a resources library. GeoHubNG grew from the ground up, shaped by what Nigeria’s geospatial community actually needs.
