📋 Description

• Design and implement radiometric calibration and image processing of the multispectral infrared imagery from Muon’s FireSat mission. • Develop then execute the calibration program for the SBEM infrared camera. • Research and development to improve foundational data calibration and processing. • Implement and operate production pipelines for calibration and data processing. • Write production-ready code. • Work cross functionally within the team and across Muon to design, build, and maintain operational services from Muon’s core remote sensing missions • Learn new topics as needed (measurement techniques, geospatial data engineering, software engineering, customer domain-specific implications)

🎯 Requirements

• PhD with 3+ years of industry experience; or MS with 6+ years industry experience; or BS +8 years industry experience • 4+ years of experience calibrating imaging instruments • Hands-on experience with complex data from new imaging instruments • Exceptional skills in python-based development and analysis • Strong statistical and mathematical skills • Ability to work with a distributed, interdisciplinary team (scientists, engineers, data support) • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start up environment

Job Purpose:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and executing drone data collection missions.
• Process raw drone imagery and sensor data using photogrammetry software (e.g. Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape) to generate orthomosaics, point clouds, and other derived products
• Perform geospatial data management, including organizing, cataloging, and archiving drone data.
• Conduct spatial analysis and modeling using GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Generate maps, visualizations, and other deliverables to support project needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high quality work.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities .

Education and Personal Strengths:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in photogrammetry software (e.g., Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape) and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Experience with drone data collection and processing workflows.
• Strong understanding of geospatial data management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a Remote Course Consultant, your responsibilities include:

• Participating in training sessions to fully understand the company’s educational products and user needs.
• Effectively addressing client inquiries about course offerings, schedules, teaching methods, and registration processes.
• Engaging potential clients through various communication channels (phone, email, social media) to introduce courses and highlight the institution’s value.
• Building strong relationships with parents by understanding their children’s academic needs and recommending suitable programs.
• Developing and execute plans to meet weekly/monthly enrollment targets and improve resource conversion rates.
• Monitoring sales performance and continuously refine approaches to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborating with academic, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration between enrollment and program delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Teaching, or Education is preferred.
• Prior experience in the education industry, sales, or customer service above 1-2 years is preferred.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with parents and students.
• Enthusiastic about education and helping students succeed; empathetic towards parents’ needs and concerns.
• Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness to tasks and deadlines; maintains a professional and solution-oriented mindset.
• Flexible schedule with availability for 30-40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
